《永，是永恆的永》是一件永字穿梭於書法、機具裝置與數位化之間的散文電影。

作品從「毛筆書寫」出發，以身體反覆書寫的經驗為錨點。文字進入機器之後，開始以不同的方式被理解與生產。在不斷變化的媒介條件下，人的感知發生什麼改變？當書寫部署於不同的材料、工具與技術系統，書寫與身體的關係又如何發生變化？

Yong Eternity is an essay film in which the Chinese character “Yong” moves between calligraphy, mechanical apparatuses, and the process of digitization.

Beginning with the bodily experience of repeatedly writing Yong with a brush, the work follows its passage into the machine, where it is understood and produced in different ways. As the conditions of the medium continuously change, how does human perception change? When writing is deployed across different materials, tools, and technological systems, how does its relationship with the body transform?

▓▒░ 藝術家簡介 Artist ░▒▓

張嘉哲，台灣藝術家與電影創作者，現往返於柏林與台北，他於德國萊比錫視覺藝術學院取得藝術文憑，創作涵蓋書法、錄像、裝置及藝術家書籍。他從實地考察、檔案研究與人物訪談等方式出發，關注媒介、技術系統與人的身體感知之間的關係。

他的作品曾於多倫多 Images Festival（2025) 放映，參與過國立臺灣美術館臺灣美術雙年展（2022)、橫山書法藝術館（2022) 、鳳甲美術館（2017) 等聯展。個展於台北十方藝術空間 Galerie OVO （2016)，作品獲國立臺灣藝術大學有章藝術博物館典藏。

Jia-Chae CHANG is a Taiwanese visual artist and filmmaker working between Berlin and Taipei.

His work spans calligraphy, video, installation, and artist books. Through site visits, archival research, and interviews, he examines the relationships between media, technological systems, and bodily perception.

Chang has participated in Images Festival (Toronto, 2025), Taiwan Biennale (National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taichung, 2022), “What If Attitudes Become Letters?” (Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center, Taoyuan, 2022), and “Radical Writing Form” (Hong-Gah Museum, Taipei, 2017). He had a solo exhibition at Galerie OVO (Taipei, 2016). His work is included in the collection of the Art Museum of National Taiwan University of Arts.
