《開卷有益》（Open Book Is Good）
走出美術館之後，藝術還剩下什麼？
本次個展涵蓋6件作品，包含4x5底片攝影、AI生成圖像、行為藝術、聲音藝術，以及開源教育專案。
《答案》與《考試國王》追問：誰決定標準答案？誰有資格說話？
《長大》借助 AI 想像不同人生，卻也看見這些看似無限的可能，仍受既有的文化、偏見與期待塑形，映照出AI訓練素材中主流與非主流文化的再現落差。
《三日不讀書，面目可憎》將自身證件照交由AI逐代生成，在反覆要求「維持原貌」的指令中反覆變形、重返清晰，卻逐漸遠離原貌。
《失神》邀請現場觀眾，共同實際作答學測考題，透過正確、錯誤的選擇，分支出另一種版本的《雨夜花》、《望春風》。
即便藝術家在創作中說出「人生沒有標準答案」，學生明天仍要走進考場，承擔成績帶來的現實。因此，製作了《開卷有益》將公開試題整理成免費、開源的自學工具，讓練習、詳解與製作方法回到公眾手中。
學生可以使用它，乃至不同國家的任何人，也能參與修改，讓知識持續被檢查與補充。
從展場裡的提問，到日常中可以共同完善的社會參與，希望藝術留下的不僅只有反思，還有陪人面對現實的具體實踐。
"Open Book Is Good"
What remains of art after we leave the museum?
Six works span 4×5 film photography, performance, sound, AI imagery, and open-source education.
"Answer" and "The King of Examination" ask who sets the answers and gets to speak.
"When I Grow Up" imagines lives through AI, revealing biases and imbalances between dominant and marginalized cultures in training data.
"Three Days Without Reading, a Face Grown Loathsome" feeds each AI portrait into the next generation, cycling through distortion and clarity while drifting from the source despite prompts to preserve it.
"Picnolepsy" invites visitors to answer Taiwan’s General Scholastic Ability Test questions. Correct and incorrect choices collectively create forked versions of "Rainy Night Flower" and "Longing for the Spring Breeze."
Beyond claims that life has no standard answers, students still face exams and their consequences. "Open Book Is Good" offers free, open-source practice and explanations, open to use and revision across borders—extending art beyond reflection into shared educational practice.

許哲睿 HSU, Che-jui
2003年生於臺灣，2026年以《長大》獲全國美術展攝影類金牌獎。2025年於基隆美術館舉辦人生首次個展，同年於看守所藝術空間、2026年於東京新宿 Place M 藝廊舉辦個展。
2022 年在拉麵店打工時，從客人喝剩的湯底撈起一卷底片，同年5月20日開始攝影。如今創作跨足攝影、觀念藝術、行為藝術、聲音藝術與AI生成圖像，結合八極拳、塔羅占卜以及佛道思想。處理教育考試、身分政治、偶像崇拜與訊息真偽。
現就讀國立臺灣藝術大學美術學系當代視覺文化與實踐碩士班，並推動開源自學專案《開卷有益》，將創作中的提問延伸至公共教育實踐。
許哲睿 HSU, Che-jui
Born in Taiwan in 2003. Awarded the Gold Prize in Photography at the 2026 National Art Exhibition, Taiwan, for “When I Grow Up.” Held his first solo exhibition at Keelung Museum of Art in 2025, followed by solo exhibitions at Beholding Cell Art Space later that year and Place M in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, in 2026.
Retrieved a roll of film from a customer’s leftover broth while working at a ramen shop in 2022, and began taking photographs on May 20 of the same year. Now working across photography, conceptual art, performance art, sound art, and AI-generated imagery, drawing on Bajiquan martial arts, tarot divination, and Buddhist and Daoist thought. Exploring education and examinations, identity politics, idol worship, and the truth and falsity of information.
Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Contemporary Visual Culture and Practice in the Department of Fine Arts at National Taiwan University of Arts. Also developing "Open Book Is Good," an open-source self-study project extending artistic inquiry into public education.
